Cancer Awarness Month

For the month of Oct JBMS1 Photography LLC does photo shoots for survivors and those who don't mind showing their scars. The picture above is of a client and now friend who underwent a double mastectomy and allowed me to capture her ,I brought in my makeup artist to give her a complete look.

I hold this dear to me after watching my mother Yvonne McClendon -Staples (Bonnie) (Rip) battle cancer and her father Melvin Staples her brother Bruce Staples and my cousin Khalilah Alhindi (may they rest in peace) the project was supposed to start with my mother but I waited to late 😢 so I extend it to all as a tribute to her and to show the toughness and resilience of people who have fought this battle.
